We seek an intern who will support our logistics department for at least 6 months. This internship gives you an overview of the logistics activities where you can help the logistics office on daily operative tasks and learn how to plan and organize import and export activities.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Help to plan and schedule all incoming and outgoing shipments - in line with company requirements
• Assist in the preparation of timely import documentation (including customs authorization) for air and sea shipments
• Support the interaction between warehouse and transportation
• Help to monitor and coordinate daily inbound and outbound delivery activities
• Support the process of goods returns, mistakes, and damages
• Assist in the daily communication to all relevant departments in the particular warehouse, purchasing, and customer service

Profile

• High school degree or university degree in engineering or economics
• Experiences in logistics/warehouse or other backgrounds where careful planning and accurate execution are carried out on a daily basis are considered a plus
• Fluent in Italian and English, German is considered a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS/TMS systems is considered a plus
• Passion for complex and dynamic processes
• Customer-oriented
